The Kartent festival tent, where it all started.

KarTent stands for'cardboard'and'tent'!Kartent actually started out on Dutch festival campsites. Founders Jan and Wout noticed that a lot of tents were left behind on the campsites after the festival had ended. When they looked into it, it turned out that no less than1 in 4tents were left behind! As you can imagine, this creates a lot of mess and the damage to the environment is considerable.

The solution: a fully recyclable cardboard tent, the KarTent. Made of strong wood fibers, the KarTent can easily withstand a heavy shower and is big enough for 2 people! After the festival, we will pick up the tent ourselves, so that we can reuse the cardboard.
