A second life for clothing with Wibra and KarTent

Although we mainly collect cardboard for recycling, Wibra has now started collecting old clothing for recycling!
In the fight against waste of raw materials, we have now joined forces with Wibra and Sympany to give a second life to old clothing and textiles. In all 300 Wibra stores in the Netherlands, Belgium and soon also in France, customers can now easily hand in their old clothing in our cardboard collection bins. Our cardboard collection bins are designed with reuse and recycling in mind. They are therefore made of 100% recycled cardboard. No more hassle with searching for collection points!
The power of reuse: a symbolic blazer
During the launch of this collaboration, Wibra's CEO, Bas Duijsens, emphasized the importance of reuse in a unique way. He presented Sympany director Charles Graft with a jacket, specially made from recycled Wibra vests. This jacket symbolizes what is possible when we reuse our things and give materials a second chance.
After the clothing has been collected in our bins, Sympany takes over the process. Sympany sorts and processes the textiles that have been collected, so that they can be reused. Whether it is transformed into new clothing, fibres or other textile products, each garment is given a new purpose.
